Clinical Group Supervision

Time: 9-11am 

Dates for 2025: Fridays 5/16; 6/20; 7/18; 8/15; 9/12; 10/10; 11/7; 12/5 

Where: Queen City Counseling & Consulting 5950 Fairview Rd Suite 150 

Who is it for: Open to both LCSWA and LCMHCA clinicians working with teens and young adults 

Cost: $50 per two-hour session, you are not required to attend every session, but I ask for a verbal commitment to make every effort to attend, commit to at least four months, and alert the supervisor of absences at least 48 hours in advance. 

Requirements: supervisor approval paperwork must be completed prior to joining the group; a complimentary 20-minute interview is scheduled with Ellen Herbert, LCSW, QS prior to enrolling in the group; clinicians must also have an individual supervisor of record  

Supervisor: Ellen Herbert is an LCSW and Qualified Supervisor with fourteen years of clinical experience in various settings with teens and their families including outpatient, Intensive In-Home services, IOP and PHP levels of care. Ellen has also been a clinical supervisor for the past 10 years. Supervision will focus on the specific developmental and clinical needs of teens and young adults as well as ethical and clinical considerations in working with parents and families of teens and young adults. Supervision will be conducted through a trauma and attachment informed lens and include case studies and consultations, ethical decision-making processes, therapeutic interventions and skill building, and open discussions.
