Parent Library

At Queen City Counseling & Consulting, we specialize in supporting teens and young adults, ages 13 to 27, through some of life’s most challenging transitions. Our clinicians are trained to recognize the unique mental health needs of this age group and provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that fosters healing and growth.

Some of the most common concerns we address include anxiety and OCD, depression and mood disorders, parenting and attachment issues, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and trauma. While these are core areas of focus, we understand that every person’s experience is unique—and we’re equipped to support a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.

We also recognize that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. When appropriate, we incorporate parents and caregivers into the therapeutic process, offering tools, education, and support to help families navigate their mental health journey together.
