Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
This intensive therapy program is designed for adolescents ages 13-17 (or 18 if still in high school) who are in need of a higher level of care with minimal school interference. IOP is a good fit for clients who could benefit from additional structure and support to meet therapeutic goals. IOP is often a fit for individuals that are stepping down from more intensive levels of care including residential, inpatient, and partial hospitalization treatment and could benefit from a bridge in treatment before resuming traditional outpatient individual therapy. Our IOP curriculum combines concepts, techniques, and modalities spanning cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), expressive arts interventions, and more. Participants in our IOP regularly engage in music therapy as well as instruction from local wellness professionals including trauma-informed yoga and equine-assisted psychotherapy. The average length of program participation is 8-12 weeks. Program length is dependent upon individuals’ needs and goals.
Participants in this program will engage in 10-12 hours of therapy per week including:
